I made BarterFeeds.com because I was tired of checking the ITEX website so much. I used to check into ITEX several times a day.

Now, I just open my RSS Feed reader, or my inbox where I have a special folder market “ITEX Recent Listings.”

I just check the RSS feeds for a quick overview, or I can use my Gmail search function to search the recent email listings right from my inbox.

It seems crazy, but I probably have a better overview of the marketplace than some ITEX brokers!!! And you can too!

Good morning everyone.

Just a quick reminder to all that cycle ends this Thursday and billing occurs this Friday so get in your end of cycle transactions and if you are behind on fees PLEASE PAY THEM IMMEDIATELY. You know who you are peeps.

And a quick thing to note, because of the 4 week cycle July has TWO billing dates. July 2 and July 30 so let’s kick some butt this month.

Today is the billing day for this cycle and a great number of cards were declined…

So for the sake of everyone here is how you go in and make a manual payment:

Log into your ITEX account.

On the left hand side about midway down you will see the MY ACCOUNT link.

Click it.

Now it will bring up your account.

Scroll down.

Middle column, bottom row is where you want to be. The PAY ONLINE section.

Select Credit Card payment.

Click it. Submit your card info and then ITEX corporate will send you an email confirming you authorized the payment. Within about 24-48 hours yuo will recieve a second email stating your card has been charged, it will confirm if it was approved or declined.

Now go back through all the above step but instead of CREDIT CARD PAYMENT, select UPDATE AUTOPAY INFORMATION.

Go through and re-add your card. They won’t bill you, but it puts you card back on file for next month. (Thing to note, if you are NOT on autopay, your fees jump up to 7.5% instead of 6%, may not seem like a lot, but works out to be massive on large deals, so stay on autopay.)

So if you were declined today, please make sure you do this ASAP. You don’t wanna be paying those higher fees.

Some people have already delved into the information and have asked about ITEX, the fees and all that fun stuff so here is a quick break down of how it works.

ITEX bills you on both buys and sells. This is essentially their commission on the deals down within their marketplace. When you get set up to pay by credit card, or direct debit your fees are as follows:

6% on buys or sells.

$20CAD + $10ITEX per CYCLE. Please note cycles are not monthly, they are 28 days, you will notice the date slowly change from month to month as a result

A cycle always starts on a Friday, and ends on a Thursday. You will recieve your invoice for the cycle on the first Friday of the new cycle, with it being debited from your card, or bank account the following Monday.

Here are the cycle dates for 2010! First date is the first day of the cycle, and the last date is the end of the cycle.
